A groundbreaking business and civic leader, Judith J. Fuhr is the Chief Executive Officer of Activator Methods International. Since 2000, Judi has been at the helm of the company’s day-to-day operations, serving as Activator’s Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, President, and co-owner.
Judi Hamilton Fuhr also founded Hamilton Consulting, an Arizona-based public affairs firm, in 1993. She served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer until 2004. Under her guidance and leadership, Hamilton Consulting represented a wide range of prominent organizations, including NASCAR, Phoenix International Raceway, the International Speedway Corporation, W.M. Grace Companies, Fain Signature Group, Sun Chase Holdings, Sterling Pacific, and Turf Paradise Racetrack.
Judi Fuhr also has a long track record of community service. She served as a member of the Chandler School Board for eight years, including five years as the Board’s President. In 2009, Judi was honored by the Chandler Education Foundation with the organization’s “Woman of Greatness Award.”
Judi joined Chandler Regional Hospital’s Board of Directors in 1990, serving for two years as the Board’s Vice President. She was also a member of the West Valley Fine Arts Board.
A proud native Arizonan, Judi Fuhr was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. A personal highlight of her career came during her tenure as President of Arizona Women in Agriculture when she was called upon to represent Arizona agricultural concerns in Washington, D.C., and testify before then-Secretary of Agriculture John Block.
Judi is one of the few women in the United States to hold the titles of Honorary Chapter Farmer, Honorary State Farmer, and Honorary American Farmer with the Future Farmers of America (FFA). These titles are termed “honorary” because they were awarded before girls were allowed to fully participate in FFA.
Judi Fuhr resides in Chandler with her husband, Dr. Arlan W. Fuhr.
