Dr Zane Gard’s Activator journey began in 1984 when he asked his Chiropractor about the fascinating looking instrument he used in his office, it was an original Activator adjusting instrument. As a student at Western States Chiropractic College in the 1990’s, Dr. Gard would attend the Portland and the Seattle seminar to learn as much as he could about Activator since it was not offered at his college. He passed his Basic Certification test in 1999 and Advanced Certification in 2000. In 2005 he was invited to become an Associate Clinical Instructor and has taught at the Portland and Seattle Seminars since. He also held the title of City Coordinator for the Portland seminar for many years. In 2015 he was instrumental in bringing the teaching of Activator back to the Western States campus and has been an adjunct faculty member at UWS since. In 2016 he was promoted to Clinical Instructor for Activator Methods and added teaching in Calgary Canada to his service for Activator. In 2017 through 2023 he served on the Clinical Advisory Board for Activator Methods. Dr. Gard credits his practice’s success with the results he sees daily using Activator Methods in his office.
